Launch Your Contracting

What we caught

The ledger isn’t switched on

Connect a Vercel Blob store to this project and every compliance check starts being recorded. Nothing else changes — the gate already runs, it just isn’t keeping a record yet.

What every piece is checked against

Before anything reaches you, Launch Your Contracting runs it against your industry’s advertising rules. These are the lines it will not let a draft cross.

  • “We waive your deductible,” “we'll cover your deductible,” “we'll eat the deductible,” or any offer to absorb, rebate or discount around it — this is insurance fraud in most states
  • “Free roof,” “free replacement,” “no cost to you,” or “insurance pays for everything”
  • “Insurance will cover it” stated as a fact — the carrier and the adjuster decide coverage, never the contractor
  • Offering to inflate, adjust or “work with” an invoice to match a claim
  • Claiming to negotiate with, represent, or act on behalf of a homeowner with their carrier unless licensed as a public adjuster in that state
  • Stating a licence, bond, insurance policy or certification that is not the subscriber's own and current — including a lapsed one, and including a licence held in a different state
  • Publishing in a state that requires a licence number on advertising without that number on the piece
  • “Licensed and insured” where the subscriber has not confirmed both
  • “Certified,” “factory authorised,” “preferred installer” or “master” without naming the issuing body
  • Implying a specialty licence — electrical, plumbing, mechanical, asbestos — that the subscriber does not hold
  • “Lifetime warranty,” “lifetime guarantee,” or any warranty period stated without the exact written terms alongside it
  • A manufacturer's warranty presented as the contractor's own, or the reverse
  • “Guaranteed,” “risk-free” or “no risk” framing of any part of the work
  • A guaranteed completion date or duration (“done in a weekend,” “installed in one day”)
  • “We beat any quote,” “guaranteed lowest price,” “cheapest,” “lowest price in town,” or any price-matching promise
  • A specific price, per-square or per-unit cost, or job total in marketing copy — every job is scoped individually
  • A discount framed against a price that was never charged
  • Any job count, years in business, crew size, review count or rating the subscriber has not supplied and confirmed as current
  • A testimonial the subscriber did not receive from a real customer, in that customer's own words, with permission to use it
  • A stock, supplier or competitor photograph presented as the subscriber's own work
  • A before-and-after pair from different properties, different angles, or with the “after” retouched, relit or staged to exaggerate the change
  • A before-and-after implying a typical result, a timeline, or a price for the next customer
  • Publishing a customer's home, address or identifying detail without their written permission
  • Any figure at all that no approved fact in this pack licenses
  • Scare tactics about structural or safety risk to force a same-day signature
  • Manufactured urgency about storm season, materials or crew availability
  • Describing Launch Your Contracting, this hub, or its AI inside the subscriber's own marketing — their audience is homeowners and property managers, not people shopping for marketing software

Carried on every piece

Licensed and insured. Estimates are not binding quotes; final scope and price are set in a written agreement. Add your licence number before publishing.
